Our Commitment

The Access and Diversity Committee serves students as well as the community by actively fostering diversity. The College strives to enrich its heritage through the diversification of its students, faculty, and staff. You Belong at Motlow!

The Committee supports diversity, access, and inclusion by focusing on improving student learning through culturally diverse perspectives. Motlow recruits and retains diverse faculty and staff. The College awards Access and Diversity grants to qualified students to help them reach their educational goals. Access and Diversity opens the doors to higher education and improves the success of everyone. It is the optimal learning environment.

Faculty and Staff Professional Development, Retention, and Recruitment Grant

Belonging at Motlow is investing in the growth and professional development of our faculty and staff. Therefore, faculty and staff can apply for A&D professional development funds. 

Bias Reporting at Motlow

  • The Compliance, Equity, and Inclusion Officer is responsible for collecting and tracking all reports of bias at Motlow that could impact our commitment to diversity and inclusion. If you observe or experience bias, you can make a report.
  • Reporting is confidential and open to students, employees, and community members. 
  • If you witness or experience bias on any Motlow campus or in any Motlow gathering, you should intervene if you feel comfortable. If a crime is in progress, call Campus Police or 911. File an incident report as soon as possible.
