Motlow State Faculty Excellence Awards ceremony is April 13
LYNCHBURG, TN (Mar. 28, 2017) — The Motlow College Foundation will host its annual Faculty Excellence Awards ceremony on Thursday, April 13, at 3 p.m. on the Moore County campus in the Clayton-Glass Library Events Area The ceremony will recognize the accomplishments of Motlow State Community College faculty during the 2016-17 academic year.
Among the full-time finalists are: Dr. David Bethea, assistant professor of music; Dayron Deaton-Owens, assistant professor of psychology and sociology; Dr. Stephen Guerin, professor of psychology; Pamela Harris, assistant professor of psychology and sociology; Heather Koller, associate professor of history; Meagan McManus, languages curriculum chair; Dr. Judith Russell, professor of English; and Dr. Khalid Tantawi, instructor of mechatronics.
The event will also celebrate outstanding adjunct faculty. Nominated members include: Dr. Melanie Bishop, Carly Hylen, Dr. William Kraus, and Debra Stockdale.
The Faculty Excellence Awards are funded by the Motlow College Foundation. Winners will be announced during the ceremony, and a reception will follow.
